Project details

The project involves the preparation of project documentation and the execution of renovation works for the complete overhaul of the Croatian Institute of Public Health building located at Rockefellerova ulica no. 2 in Zagreb, sponsored by the Croatian Institute of Public Health. Constructed between 1924 and 1926, with an extension added in 1960, the buildingis situated in Zone B of the Historic Urban Area of the City of Zagreb, and the renovation needs to be coordinated with the conservation requirements. Featuring a complex floor plan, with basement, ground floor, two additional floors, and an attic.

Company Texo Molior d.o.o. was hired as the main contractor for the structural and completerenovation of the building. The works include the strengthening of the walls with shotcreteand the FRCM/GFRP system, the constructioncraftsmanship and installation works necessary to achieve the full functionality of the building, as well as landscaping of the building. These works include horticulture, construction of road structure, traffic signs,signaling and parking spaces, as well as all necessary installations and external lighting around the building. The scope of works includes the construction of a new TBC department with a BSL-3 laboratory, and it represents one of the biggest priorities and challenges of the building. The project is co-financed with funds from the EU Solidarity Fund and as such issubject to control by the Central Finance and Contracting Agency.
